PREVIEW: TIGRES - MONTERREY
Tuesday, January 5, 2010
Edgar Castillo and Tigres will look to rebound from a disappointing 4-1 thrashing at the hands of Puebla as they take on Monterrey in Interliga action at Robertson Stadium Wednesday night in Houston, Texas.

Tigres enter the game in last place in Group B and will need a victory over Monterrey in order to have a chance at moving out of the group and playing for the coveted Copa Libertadores spot.

Castillo, who hopes to impress Bob Bradley this year in a last ditch effort to make the US World Cup squad, will likely start at left back again for Tigres. The nimble defender will be called upon to not only defend, but also to push the attack from the left wing.

In addition to the fact that both teams have a Copa Libertadores sport up for grabs, the matchup will be extra enticing as it pits two bitter rivals, with the winner putting a foot into the next round of the Interliga tournament.
