Benny Feilhaber and Aarhus will try for their first win in nearly two months while Marcus Tracy is a likely candidate to continue leading Aalborg's front line in battle against Esbjerg.
Esbjerg fB - Aalborg BK
Marcus Tracy will be looking for his third straight start as Aalborg hit the road to take on a surprisingly tough Esbjerg team on Saturday.
Tracy went the full 90 minutes in Monday's game against Aarhus but was unable to help Aalborg break the scoreless draw.
With fellow forwards Ronnie Schwartz and Daniel Fredheim Holm likely sidelined through until the winter break, Tracy is a likely candidate to get the starting nod once again from coach Magnus Pehrsson.
The visitors will be looking to overtake Brøndby in fourth place with a three-point separation and two games remaining before the break, thus placing themselves in prime position to fight for a European spot once games resume in March.
In addition to the ailing Holm and Schwartz, Pehrsson will also be without Thomas Gaardsøe due to a knee injury, and might still be missing Dennis Marshall and Michael Jakobsen.
Esbjerg, who have surprised the league by holding strong in the top three through the first half, are reporting no injuries or suspensions heading into the game.
FC Nordsjælland - Silkeborg IF
Michael Parkhurst is expected to once again get the starting nod at right back for Nordsjælland on Sunday when they shoot for their third straight win as struggling Silkeborg come to Farum Park.
After earlier filling in for the injured Henrik Kildentoft on the right side of defense, Parkhurst has impressed in the position with coaches looking to make the switch permanent.
The team has also performed well during the previous few weeks, proving winners in three of their last four league contests, and will be hoping to ring up their third straight on Sunday.
They will be helped by both health and history, as coach Morten Wieghorst has a full squad to choose from, and their opponents Silkeborg have been losers their last three times in Farum Park.
Silkeborg have performed admirably after promotion back into the top flight, settling into sixth place and generally proving an equally tough team both at home and on the road.
Coach Troels Bech will be without forward Lars Huldgaard Christensen, who is out for an extended period of time with injury.
AGF Aarhus - Brøndby IF
Benny Feilhaber will try to help turn around Aarhus' poor fortunes on Sunday when they host Brøndby, with the team hoping to avoid their sixth successive game without a victory.
Monday's scoreless draw against Aalborg meant the team hasn't tasted victory since early-October, meaning their title hopes of earlier in the season have taken a back seat to simply trying to push into the top half of the standings.
Brøndby should provide no easy task to get back on track as they have only lost twice in seven attempts on the road and occupy fourth place in the league.
Aarhus could, however, hope to up the tempo of their attack on home soil to take advantage of Brøndby's recent defensive frailties, which have seen them give up a combined seven goals over their last two games.
Aarhus coach Erik Rassmussen continues to be without defenders Mark Howard and Ulrik Lindkvist as well as midfield Miels Kristensen, who are all recovering from long-term injuries.
Jeremiah White returns to roster after serving suspension last week
Brøndby is reporting no injuries or suspensions.
