Benny Feilhaber and Marcus Tracy were unable to help their respective teams break a scoreless deadlock in Aalborg while Michael Parkhurst and Nordsjælland pulled off a last-minute win in Køge.
HB Køge 1 - 2 FC Nordsjælland
Michael Parkhurst continued his spell at right back, going the distance for the Wild Tigers as they scored a dramatic last-second win on their visit to Køge on Saturday.
The duel between two teams in the lower reaches of the standings looked hardly the encounter one would expect, with Nordsjælland taking a highly organized approach and the relegation-bound Køge looking dangerous on their attacking forays.
The Wild Tigers took the lead one minute after the half-hour mark, when Bajram Fetai was left ample space to send a cross from the right side into the danger area, which first deflected off a Køge defender and into the path of Swede striker Rawez Lawan, who slammed home the shot for the 1-0 lead.
The hosts spent much of the second half applying constant pressure on Nordsjælland's defense, taking a near kamikaze approach in their effort to salvage a draw.
Their efforts paid off in the 84th minute when Simon Christoffersen netted his first goal for Køge following a poor clearance from the defense to seemingly give each team one point for their efforts.
Not to be outdone by Christoffersen's late dramatics, the young Lawan had one more trick up his sleeve, netting his second goal of the afternoon on the rebound in injury time after Køge keeper Lars Bjerring couldn't hold onto a shot from Nicki Bille.
The win allows Nordsjælland to keep their grip on ninth place, sandwiched between Midtjylland and SønderjyskE, both of whom also won over the weekend.
They return home on Sunday for their penultimate game of the fall term against sixth-place Silkeborg, losers of their previous two in the league.
Aalborg BK 0 - 0 AGF Aarhus
Benny Feilhaber and Marcus Tracy both went the full 90 minutes for their respective teams on Monday evening in Aalborg's Energi Nord Arena, however neither team was able to muster a goal as both settled for one point.
The hosts looked the more active of the two teams, mustering the better chances but unable to fully capitalize. Kenneth Emil Petersen had the chance to put Aalborg up after 28 minutes when left free for a header on a corner from Louay Chanko, but aimed his shot directly at Aarhus keeper Steffen Rassmussen.
The second half offered hardly any better sights for the crowd, with a series of botched shots and poor displays from both teams making the scoreless ending seem unavoidable.
Tracy had one final chance to steal the victory for the hosts in the 88th minute, but his header from a Daniel Christensen cross went wide of target, leaving each team to settle for their share of the points.
Jeremiah White was an unused substitute for Aarhus coach Erik Rassmussen.
The point lifts Aalborg just ahead of Silkeborg into fifth place, with a trip to third-place Esbjerg looming on Saturday afternoon.
Aarhus retain their seventh-place spot in the standings, but will hope to gain some ground when they host Brøndby on Sunday.

Danny Califf was not included in Midtjylland's squad for their 3-0 win over Esbjerg on Saturday.
Jamil Fearrington and Roskilde finished their fall schedule one week before and will have their season's winter break until late-March 2010.
