PREVIEW: FC VOLENDAM - HELMOND SPORT
Rich Fidler - Thursday, November 19, 2009
Hemond Sport will head north of Amsterdam to face FC Volendam on Friday evening.

American Charles Kazlauskas should make the start in the midfield for head coach Jürgen Streppel as they looked to rebound from last weekend's defeat.

Sjaak Lettinga and Sjoerd Winkens are out with long term injuries and will be unavailable for selection on Friday evening.

The "Other Orange" have struggled in the Jupiler League after being relegated from the Eredivisie after their 18th place finish last season.

Head coach Edward Sturing took over for Frans Adelaar after the club was relegated and will look to Dutch midfielder Paul de Lange for stability as the captain on the field.

The home team will be without Wouter Artz and Melvin Platje. The defender and striker, their leading scorer with eight goals, were both sent off with straight red cards in last weekend's stunning 5-2 defeat to MVV Maastricht.
