PREVIEW: SHELBOURNE - SPORTING FINGAL
Gareth Maher - Monday, November 9, 2009
Chris Konopka will be hoping to keep his place between the posts as Sporting Fingal take on Shelbourne in a First Division promotion play-off on Tuesday.

It is the last chance to seal a spot in the Premier Division for next year and it comes between the two North Dublin neighbors.

Having drawn 2-2 the last time these two teams met, there is not much between them. Shels finished the league campaign four points ahead of Liam Buckley's troops and will go into this play-off as favorites.

Konopka is in with a chance of starting the game after featuring in the defeat to Athlone Town, but Robert Bayly and Robbie Doyle are not available for Sporting due to suspension.

For Shels, they are missing Kevin Doherty, while late fitness tests will be handed to Alan Keely, Richie Baker, and Peter Hynes.

The winner of this play-off will then go through to meet either Bray Wanderers or Drogheda United on Friday evening.
