PREVIEW: WEEKEND FRENCH ACTION
Michael Adubato - Friday, November 6, 2009
Rennes travel south this weekend, while Charlie Davies' Sochaux play in front of their home crowd before the international break in Ligue 1 action.

Toulouse - Rennes

Falling to the bottom half of the league standings, Carlos Bocanegra and Rennes will do their best to claw their way back up when they travel to take on le Téfécé at the Municipal Stadium.

Bocanegra will suit up for Les Rouges et Noirs but midfielder Sylvain Marveaux will be sidelined for up to four weeks after picking up a thigh injury in last week's game against Valenciennes. Striker Moussa Sow is also expected to miss out due to an injury of his own.

Toulouse will be without their Oumar N'Diaye in their defensive backfield due to an undisclosed injury.

A Rennes win can see them make it back into the top half of the standings while a loss could see them fall several places, depending on other results.

Notes

Sochaux are still without Charlie Davies but will do battle at home against relegation troubled Racing Club Lens.
