PREVIEW: WEEKEND SWEDISH ACTION
Jon Van Wagenen - Thursday, October 22, 2009
Etchu Tabe will be in action this weekend but likely without fellow Ljungskile defender Ryan Miller while Alejandro Bedoya may also miss out on Orebro's weekend tussle.

Ljungskile - Ängelholms FF

Tabe is expected to remain in the starting lineup as Ljungskile finish the season with a home match against Ängelholms FF.

Miller has been out with an ankle injury and is not expected to play. Ljungskile are safe from relegation so it would reason that the club's brass would opt to have the former Notre Dame standout rest to avoid risking further damage.

Ängelholm are seventh in the table and Ljungskile ninth, so the match is not vital to either team.

Örebro - Hälmsted

Two of Fulham manager Roy Hodgson's former teams meet when Örebro host Hälmsted on Friday night.

Alejandro Bedoya missed the previous match against Bromma due to injury and his status for Friday will likely be a game time decision.

Örebro have lost in three consecutive 3-0 matches which have dashed any hopes of a European berth.

Halmstad are in 12th, but have not quite ensured their 2010 Allsvenskan berth just yet. After a recent loss to bottom dweller Hammarby, and the injury of Rami Shaaban, a result would be a relief.
