PREVIEW: ST. PAT'S ATHLETIC-DROGHEDA UNITED
Gareth Maher - Friday, August 28, 2009
St Patrick's Athletic and Ryan Guy get back to business with a tough league match on Sunday as they prepare to host Drogheda United at Richmond Park.

The Super Saints crashed out of the Europa League on Thursday when they lost 2-1 (5-1 on aggregate) to Steaua Bucharest, despite registering a brave performance at RDS and they will be aiming to bounce back from that disappointment.

Head coach Jeff Kenna has no new injury concerns, so he should be able to select his strongest for a league encounter that they really need to win if they are to climb higher up the table and compete for a European spot.

Guy is likely to keep his place on the wing after standing out in Thursday's defeat. The San Diego, California native is enjoying his finest season yet for the Dublin club and will be hoping to keep up that momentum.

Drogheda are missing Jamie Duffy and Paul Shiels due to suspension, so the visitors will be forced to shuffle their pack as they attempt to get something from the game.
