RECAP: TROLLHATTAN 1 - 1 LJUNGSKILE
Arch Bell - Wednesday, August 19, 2009
Ryan Miller and Etchu Tabe helped Ljungskile fight back to earn a road draw versus Trollhättan in Tuesday Superettan action at Edsborgs IP in Trollhättan.

Defenders Miller and Tabe started and went the distance for head coach Bosse Walemark whose squad has put together an impressive run of late.

In their last six matches, Ljungskile have failed to pick up any points just once spanning a streak of four wins, one loss and Wednesday's draw.

Fellow defender Sam Brill did not suit up for the visitors as Brill continues to see action exclusively with Ljungskile's reserve team.

Disgruntled goalkeeper Colin Burns was also left off the gameday roster.

After a first half that saw the two clubs trade punches without any goals, it would be Trollhättan who would get on the scoreboard first when Ali Mohammadian received a pass from Andreas Wiklund and sent the ball through the legs of Ljungskile goalkeeper Niklas Svensson in the 61st minute.

The home team's goal evidently woke up Walemark's squad who started to assert themselves and quickly struck back eight minutes later when Niklas Lofgren took a pass from Johan Patriksson and drilled a shot past goalkeeper Tobias Wennergren.

The just result nudges Ljungskile up the league standings to ninth with 23 points as they return home this weekend to face Syrianska FC.
