PREVIEW: BRAY WANDERERS - ST. PATRICK'S ATHLETIC
Michael Adubato - Friday, April 3, 2009
After a terrible season opener, third place St Patrick's will be looking for their fourth win in a row and a chance to move into the top spot when they take on winless Bray Wanderers on the road Friday night.

American Ryan Guy has fully recovered from his preseason injury and should be in the starting lineup for the Saints, but the team has suffered a pair of injury blows.

In last week's win over newly promoted Dundalk, both Gary Dempsey and Mark Leech suffered broken legs. The midfielder and forward are expected to be out for a minimum of three months.

The Dublin-based club will also still be without Gareth O'Connor due to a thigh injury, and also Stephen Maher who suffered knee ligament damage.

Bray are faring no better on the injury front as midfielder Patrick Kavanagh and defender Derek Pepnder will both miss the game with ankle injuries. The Wanderers English midfielder Daryl Robson is also out after picking up a red card last weekend against Cork City.

The Seagulls have yet to pick up a win this season after opening the season with three straight ties, before losing last weekend.

The Saints have been on a roll however; after losing their opener, they have recorded a pair of road wins and a home win to put them back into the top three.
