FEILHABER MAKING GOOD KNEE PROGRESS
Chad Winger - Wednesday, December 3, 2008
USMNT and AGF Aarhus midfielder Benny Feilhaber who has had his season limited to one appearance, is on his way to a return to training but is not out of the woods just yet.

Feilhaber, who this summer moved to Denmark to join Jerry White at Aarhus after a disastrous season at Derby County, had knee surgery in September to repair a troubled meniscus ligament.

"My recovery seems to be going pretty well," the 23-year old told YA.

"My knee feels a lot better, but the doctors tell me we have to make sure with an MRI or possibly an exploratory scope to see what's going on inside the knee to be 100 percent sure."

Though recovery is progressing well, the American has not set a timetable for return.

"[The MRI] will most likely take place within the next couple weeks," Feilhaber informed. "We'll have a good idea about when I'll be able to be practicing and playing again."

Aarhus travel to face FC Nordsjaelland on Saturday before going on the winter break which lasts until March 1.
