Former San Diego State netminder Tally Hall has inked a three-year contract to join Danish top flight club Esbjerg fB on transfer deadline day.
The Washington native beat out competition that included DC United backstop Jay Nolly to win the heir apparent role under veteran starter Lars Winde.
"We got the last signatures today," EfB managing director Søren Poulsen told YA on Wednesday. "(The contract) is for three years."
The recent LA Galaxy draft pick, who also impressed during a winter Hammarby trial, is being viewed as the back-up for now.
"The plan with Tally is for him to train with (Winde) and be the #1 in the future," stated Poulsen.
Hall, 21, earned his second consecutive All-PAC 10 nod and a place on the All-American second team for his 2006 senior season with the Aztecs. |
