RECAP: WEEKEND DANISH ACTION
Monday, November 7, 2005
Heath Pearce went the distance in a Nordsjælland victory at AGF Aarhus, while Luc Harrington opened his account in a B1909 romp.

AGF Aarhus 1 - 3 FC Nordsjælland

Nordsjælland held on tight to fifth place with a strong road victory over relegation bait AGF Aarhus.

Heath Pearce went 90 minutes in the victory, earned through Mads Junker's hat trick.

Nordsjælland return to action in two week's time when they welcome Aalborg to Farum Park.

Odense B1909 6 - 2 Varde IF

Joe Zewe and Luc Harrington each tallied in a runaway B1909 home triumph that pushed them up to 10th in the 2. Division West table at the extended mid-point break.

Bakary Bojang fired three goals as the Odense club climbed three places in the standings.

Strike ace Zewe also contributed two assists before departing in the 84th minute, while midfielder Harrington capped the scoring with his first for the team after coming on with 18 minutes remaining.

B1909 are now off until March when they tackle top flight Esbjerg in the quarterfinals of the Danish Cup.

Odense B1913 2 - 2 Jetsmark

Ryan Caugherty worked the final 30 minutes of a match the hosts felt they should have won.

The winter break leaders rallied from two down with a quarter hour remaining to grab a point, with Martin Augustinussen claiming the last gasp equalizer.

The tide was turned, however, when B1913 were reduced to 10 men and Jetsmark awarded a controversial penalty in the 76th minute.

The hosts, who remain in seventh, return to action April 2nd with a visit from Esbjerg II.

Notes

Yuri Morales was not in uniform for Ølstykke's 3-1 second flight loss at BK Fremad Amager.
