CLARK TO EXTEND WITH FRANKFURT
Posted by Clint Waddell on Monday May 10, 2010

Following their last game of the Bundesliga season, Eintracht Frankfurt's CEO Heribert Bruchhagen stated that the team would be extending Ricardo Clark's contract, binding the American midfielder to the club for the next three years. Club officials will be making an official statement on Monday.
Clark joined Frankfurt during the winter transfer period and initially had a contract for the rest of the season, with an option for an additional three years. It took three months before Clark would see his first minutes of action due to problems with fitness and a nagging calf injury. He did, however, start each of the team's last three games of the season and was able to win the confidence of the coaching staff and management.

DAVIES ON THE MEND
Posted on Wednesday December 2, 2009

He would likely be around eight months out of official action, having played last in October for the United States.

OVERSHADOWED BY TRAGEDY, BUT IT'S GAME DAY
Posted on Wednesday October 14, 2009

It's easy and understandable to forget that today is a game day for the USMNT - one that would have been a celebration of a tough qualifying campaign which ended in success in Honduras over the weekend.
Of course the events early Tuesday morning cast a pall over any positive emotions as the realities of life remind us once again that sport is valuable for entertainment purposes only, and there are much more important things than a result on the soccer field.
