Oguchi Onyewu and Málaga will face Barcelona in the second leg of Copa del Rey action on Thursday at La Rosaleda.

The first leg saw Málaga come back to tie the match at two goals apiece on a 90th minute Ignacio Camacho goal while down to 10 men after Nacho Monreal's 75th minute red card. Málaga has the advantage on away goals and will look to stifle the potent Barcelona attack.

Onyewu looked to be in line for a start following Monreal's red card in the first leg but the Anchovies announced on Wednesday that they had signed Uruguayan Captain and central defender Diego Lugano on loan from PSG.

The signing may prove costly to the American veteran's already limited playing time. Lugano's loan deal also comes with the option to purchase at the end of the season and trained with the team on Wednesday.

Málaga will be without striker Julio Baptista, who has yet to see action this season due to injury. David Villa has received clearance to play and has travelled with the Catalan giants to Málaga.
