RICH FIDLER - Monday, January 21, 2008
According to his agent, midfielder Benny Feilhaber won't be making a move to MLS and the 23-year old is still in the plans of Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The former UCLA Bruin has only made seven appearances for basement-dwelling Derby County of the English Premier League and has yet to pick up a goal or assist in his 214 minutes. His one start came in September.

"Benny really isn't interested in a move back to MLS right now," agent Henner Janzen told YA. "He would prefer to stay in Europe."

The transfer window closes on January 31st and Janzen is continuing to take offers for the former Under-20 star. Although previously reported as being dead, the potential transfer to Maccabi Tel Aviv, who are currently ninth in the twelve team Ligat ha'Al, hasn't been ruled out.

"The deal with Maccabi isn't completely out of the picture yet."

The Rams purchased Feilhaber in August for just under $2 million from Hamburg SV of the German Bundesliga.
