Hamburg midfield apprentice Benny Feilhaber is hoping to find out by the end of June where he will be playing his soccer during the 2007/08 season.

The US international, rumored to be in line for a new HSV deal, indicated that the club would be willing to find him a temporary loan home for him to gain more first team seasoning.

However, with a few veteran midfielders seemingly on the move, coach Huub Stevens may still decide that Feilhaber should be in action back at the AOL Arena.

"I am not sure about what HSV will do for me next year, whether they want to give me a new deal or not," said the youngster, whose contract expires next summer.

"I am definitely looking to go somewhere to play first team ball, so I am waiting on my options in order to make a better decision."

"They have told me they want that for me as well, so they are not against the possibility of me going on loan for a year. I'll know more about my situation within a month or so."

Feilhaber made 12 appearances for Hamburg in 2006/07, including three in the Champions League, and has also worked 19 HSV II contests thus far.

The 22-year old will sit out Saturday's visit to Rot-Weiss Erfurt due to an accrued yellow cards suspension, but should start in the middle when they close the season at Dynamo Dresden next weekend.
