BRANDON WIGGINS - Monday, August 25, 2014
Alejandro Bedoya started and went the full 90 minutes in FC Nantes' home loss to AS Monaco on Sunday.

Nantes had a chance to take the lead in the 24th minute when they were given a penalty kick after a bad foul from Monaco goalkeeper Danijel Subasic, but Subasic was able to save Serge Gakpe's penalty.

Monaco then scored the only goal of the match in the 45th minute when Radamel Falcao scored a header from the penalty box thanks to a cross from Layvin Kurzawa.

Bedoya played in his standard central midfield role for Nantes. He got a couple of shots off in the second half but both were saved.

There were no yellow cards or injuries for Nantes in the match.

Bedoya and company have another home match this Saturday when they host Montpellier.
