DANISH CUP SECOND ROUND DRAW
The draw for the second round of the Danish Cup was made on Thursday, rewarding Sebastien Ibeagha and Fredericia for their midweek win with a relatively friendly matchup.
Sebastien Ibeagha helped his temporary new team Fredericia smash lower division side Kolding IF on Wednesday night, outscoring their opponents by a 4-0 edge.
In the late-September second round of the competition, they will once again face a team playing below them in the Danish soccer pyramid, this time visiting fourth-tier Aarhus Fremad.
Fremad earned their spot in the second round by defeating nearly unpronounceable Aabyhøj by a 4-2 score.
Babajide Ogunbiyi and Viborg have yet to play AGF Aarhus in their first round game, which is set to be contested next Wednesday, however they will have an even more stern test awaiting should they advance.
The winner of next week's game will host Superligaen club Hobro IK, who earned entry into the Danish top flight for the first time in their history after finishing runners-up in the First Division last season.
Anton Peterlin and Hellerup IK took care of business in beating fellow third-tier side Frem BK on Wednesday, and barring a complete disaster, should have no problems taking down their second-round opponents Gilleleje.
Gilleleje compete in the eighth level of Danish soccer, and earned their spot by beating seventh-tier B77 Rødovre in the first round.
The games are set to be played midweek on the 23rd and 24th of September, and include all but the top four finishers in last season's Superligaen season, who will enter in the third round.
