After struggling to earn minutes with FC Kaiserslautern in the first half of the season, American forward Andrew Wooten has been loaned to FSV Frankfurt.

Wooten, 24, will join FSV for the remained of the season. The deal was confirmed to YA by FSV.

"Andrew Wooten is a player we have watched for quite some time. We think that he and his way of playing football, are good for FSV Frankfurt," said FSV-Sport Managing Director Uwe Stoever.

FSV currently sit in 13th place in the 2.Bundesliga and will return to action following the winter break with a game against Bochum.

Wooten was born and raised in Germany but has an American passport through his father who served in the U.S Military. Wooten has played for the United States internationally representing the U-23 team in 2011 and 2012.
