Moss and FFK traded goals on either side of halftime and battled all the way through to a penalty shootout where Moss were triumphant, putting away all 5 shots. Moss keeper Per Morten Kristiansen brilliantly saved FFK's third attempt, taken by Vebjørn Hagen, and when Tom Reidar Haraldsen made it 5-3 for Moss the celebrations were on.
