It is a battle of Americans as Conor Doyle's Derby County host Tim Ream, Stuart Holden and Bolton on Tuesday.

Derby County - Bolton Wanderers

Tim Ream, Stuart Holden and Bolton take to the road to play Conor Doyle's Derby County on Tuesday.

Both Ream and Holden were held out of Bolton's draw with Nottingham Forest, but manager Dougie Freedman could give the American duo playing time on Tuesday.

Doyle has likewise not featured lately, but the young forward could still make the game-day roster against the Wanderers.

Bolton finds itself four points above the relegation zone and just five points from the Rams in the standings. A win would give some fans relief and possibly bolt the team close to the middle of the standings.

Derby, meanwhile, is in ninth place and has gone winless in its last three games. The club is seven points from the last playoff position, and a win could bolster them in a substantially closer spot.

Jake Buxton is questionable to feature for the Rams, while Mark O'Brien, James O'Conner and Shaun Barker are doubtful to see the field for Derby. Marcos Alonso will miss for Bolton.

Seb Hines hopes to feature in Middlesbrough's game against Burnley.

Zak Whitbread's Leicester City take on Charlton Athletic.

Jonathan Spector and Lee Packwood are injured and not expected to feature in Birmingham City's game against Sheffield Wednesday.
