Maurice Edu played 90 minutes and picked up a yellow card in Bursaspor's win over Elazığspor.
A 21st minute goal by Pablo Batalla was all that Bursaspor needed to see off the visiting Elazığspor on Sunday. The win moves Bursaspor up to fourth place in the Süper Lig and marks their second straight win with an interim manager.
Edu played center midfield and received a yellow card in the 56th minute for a hard challenge, his first card since joining Bursaspor on loan in January. Elazığspor remains in the relegation zone in 16th position with the loss.
Edu and the Bursa will be confident heading into 15th place Gaziantepspor this Friday, a team that has only won once in their last five matches.
With the win, Bursaspor moves within three points of second place Fenerbahçe and are in contention for European qualification.
