United States Under-20 national team head coach Tab Ramos today added Stuttgart forward Jerome Kiesewetter to his roster for the upcoming World Cup qualifying tournament.

Kiesewetter, 20, has been struggling with injuries this year but has recently returned to playing for Stuttgart II, which is also known as Stuttgart's U-23 team.

The German-born Kiesewetter developed his game at a young age in Hertha Berlin's organization but left the club last year to sign a four year contract with Stuttgart. In the first half of the season he was forced to deal with a leg injury.

So far this season, he has made three appearances for Stuttgart II's team, for a total of 49 minutes.

Stuttgart II currently play in the 3.Liga and sit in ninth place in the 20 team league.

The German regular season is finished, however a pair of American players still have work to do in the promotion/relegation playoffs.
