Michael Bradley started and went the distance as Roma picked up a valuable road point versus Bologna in a back and forth contest on Sunday.

Bradley played in his fourth match in the past two weeks, playing max minutes, logging a staggering 360 minutes.

Roma got off to a flying start taking the lead after just nine minutes. Francesco Totti picked out Alessandro Florenzi in the box, who slotted home past keeper Federico Agliardi with his right.

Bologna pulled level eight minutes later with keeper Mauro Goicoechea spilling a rebound to the feet of Alberto Gilardino, who toe poked home from three yards out.

Roma, undeterred, regained the advantage less than a minute later. Miralem Pjanic escaped into space on the right flank to send in a cross to Paolo Osvaldo, who, unmarked, headed past Agliardi.

In the 26th minute things were level again, as Manolo Gabbiadini took a feed and posted up Nicolas Burdisso. The striker then spun and shot to tuck home past the outstretched arms of Goicoechea.

Chaos in the Roman backline helped Bologna grab their first lead of the match in the 54th minute of play. Goicoechea whiffed on Alessandro Diamanti's cross and Christian Pasquato fired home into an empty net.

The Giallorossi drew level in the 74th minute through Panagiotis Tachtsidis, who latched onto a Totti freekick and put a looping header past Agliardi.

Bradley and Roma host Cagliari in the opening game of matchday 23 Friday evening.
