Bryan Gerzicich and Ironi Kiryat Shmona and Maccabi Tel Aviv played to a draw on Monday night.

The pedestrian affair was played in driving rain, which hampered the both club's offense and the best chance for a goal came in the 41st minute when the Blue Lions cleared a ball off the line after goalkeeper Daniel Amos misplayed the slippery ball.

Kiryat Shmona kept there point streak alive but were unable to leapfrog several teams in their quest for European qualification and sit currently in 5th position, eight points behind Tel Aviv.

Gerzicich and Kiryat Shmona next welcome basement dweller's Hapoel Haifa to Northern Israel and will surely be looking for the win on Saturday, January 12th. Tel Aviv will visit Bnei Sakhnin as they hope to remain in first place.

Notes

Leonard Krupnik did not feature as Maccabi Netanya beat Hapoel Be'er Sheva 3-1.
