PREVIEW: CHIEVO VERONA - AS ROMA
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
SCOTT PETERSON - Saturday, December 15, 2012
Michael Bradley and AS Roma are aiming to extend their hot streak to five Sunday afternoon as the Giallorossi take on Bradley's former employer in Chievo Verona.

Bradley and Roma have been on a tear of late, ripping off four wins in a row to vault them into fourth fifth place and the thick of the Champions League race. At eight points off the pace set by league leaders Juventus, the Scudetto is also within the realm of possibilities.

The Flying Donkeys enter the affair riding a winning streak of their own, beating both Cagliari and Genoa on the road.

Nevertheless, anything but three points for Roma on Sunday would be a surprise.

Chievo is led by the three-headed attack of Cyril Thereau, Sergio Pellissier and Alberto Paloschi, who have accounted for more than half of the Veronans goals this campaign.

No teams have any major injuries to report with the lone concern on either side being a contusion to Danielle De Rossi's right foot.

With a victory, Roma could leapfrog Lazio who hosts Inter Milan Saturday.

Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m. local time at the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi in Verona.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
