After suffering an injury to his calf, Kiryat Shmona midfielder Bryan Gerzicich has been cleared to play and will return to the defending Israeli champions this week.

"I did not play last week because I had pain in my calf and the club doctor told me it was a small tear," Gerzicich told YA. "I did an ultrasound but there was nothing [more serious]."

Gerzicich did not travel to France for the Blue Lions' Europa League match against Olympique Lyonnais and returned to training for one day before being ruled out of last week's match versus Bnei Sakhnin.

Gerzicich confirmed that he will be available for tomorrow's Toto Cup matchup with Hapoel Be'er Sheva and Friday's match at Beitar Jerusalem . Kiryat Shmona have won three straight Israeli League games and have surged into fourth place.
