The US U-20 team learned their draw for the 2013 World Cup qualifying tournament starting in February.

The US U-20 team is in Group A along with Costa Rica and Haiti where they will face each team once. The top two teams from the group will advance to the quarter finals. The entire tournament will be played in Puebla, Mexico and it will begin in February.

In the quarterfinals, the winner of Group A will face the second place team from Group B and the winner of Group B will face the second place team from Group A. Group B consists of Canada, Nicaragua, and Cuba.

The winner of the quarterfinal games will qualify for the 2013 U-20 World Cup in Turkey.

Elsewhere in the remaining groups, Group C consists of Jamaica, Panama, and Puerto Rico while Group D consists of Mexico, El Salvador, and Curacao.

The US team will be looking to rebound from a disappointing campaign in 2011 where they won their group but lost their quarterfinal game against Guatemala in Guatemala City and failed to qualify for the World Cup.

Looks good. Win our group and face Nicaragua/Cuba. Should be easy enough.
