Mikkel Diskerud and Rosenborg rocked Steve Clark and Hønefoss, while Kenneth di Vita Jensen and Ullensaker/Kisa continued their sensational postseason run against Bodø/Glimt.

Hønefoss BK 1 - 4 Rosenborg Trondheim

Despite getting crushed by Mikkel Diskerud and Rosenborg on Sunday, Steve Clark and Hønefoss managed to secure a spot in the Tippeligaen in 2013.

With a possibly of falling into direct relegation, Hønefoss needed a win to ensure another season in Norway's top tier, but it was the guests that scored first. In the 26th minute, Diskerud sent a corner into the box, with Stefan Strandberg rising up and beating Clark with a header to the near post.

Rosenborg took that lead into halftime, but Hønefoss came out of the break looking the more dangerous team. The hosts had multiple chances early in the first half but couldn't make them count.

Meanwhile, Rosenborg had no trouble putting away its chances. In the 57th minute, Clark made a save off a Tarik Elyounoussi shot but couldn't control the rebound. Instead, Daniel Fredheim Holm drilled the rebound into the back of the net.

The away team wasn't done there, scoring again in the 69th minute. Holm passed a through ball to Rade Prica, who chipped a shot over a charging Clark.

Hønefoss started to make a comeback in the 74th minute, as Riku Riski picked up a rebound and slid the ball into a wide open net, but Rosenborg quickly ended any hopes just minutes later. In the 76th minute, Per Verner Rønning headed home a corner from Ole Kristian Selnæs to seal the deal.

With the win, Rosenborg finishes the season in third place. The team will go into Europa League qualification next summer.

Despite losing, Hønefoss will return to play another season in the Tippeligaen, thanks to a Sandnes Ulf loss on Sunday. Hønefoss finishes the season in 13th place.

Bodø/Glimt 0 - 2 Ullensaker/Kisa IL

Kenneth di Vita Jensen and Ullensaker/Kisa shocked yet another team in the promotion playoffs, this time against Bodø/Glimt on Saturday.

As it has for much of the season, Ullensaker/Kisa employed a defensive shell philosophy, hoping to hit Bodø/Glimt on the counterattack. This allowed Bodø/Glimt to control most of the possession, but teams went into the dressing room scoreless.

In the second half, however, Ullensaker/Kisa made the most of its sparse opportunities, starting in the 49th minute. Following a long throw in by Kim Holmen, Martin Rosenkilde found forward Steevan Dos Santos, who headed in the match's first goal.

Ullensaker/Kisa held off it opponent's desperate attack for the rest of the half, biding its time to hit back once again. That moment came in the 87th minute, when Bodø/Glimt defender Vieux Yakhya Sané took down Dos Santos. Kristian Flittie Onstad stepped up and converted the penalty that clinched a spot in the next round.

With the win, Ullensaker/Kisa will play a home-and-away series against Sandnes Ulf, the 14th place team in the Tippeligaen. The series begins Wednesday and will conclude on Saturday.

Notes

Winger Josh Gatt did not suit up for Molde's 2-0 win over Fredrikstad on Sunday.

Forward Chad Barrett was not in Vålerenga's lineup for the team's 2-1 loss to Viking on Sunday.
