PREVIEW: WEEKEND ISRAELI ACTION
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
ANDY SCHREUR - Friday, November 9, 2012
Bryan Gerzicich and Ironi Kiryat Shmona go on the road, Leonard Krupnik hopes to get back in Netanya's lineup and Ryan Adeleye will look for his first playing time of the season for Hapoel Be'er Sheva.

Ironi Kiryat Shmona vs Hapoel Ramat Gan

Bryan Gerzicich and Ironi Kiryat Shmona travel to Hapoel Ramat Gan in their return to Israeli league play. After effectively being eliminated from Europa League play with a 1-1 draw versus Sparta Prague, IKS can solely focus on defending their Israeli championship.

IKS hope to carry the momentum from last week's win into the Tel Aviv suburb of Ramat Gan for their second consecutive league victory. The Urduns, who currently sit in 12th position, have not won a match at home this season. If the Blue Lions win, it would provide some separation in the middle of the league, where five teams are tied at 11 points each.

Ramat Gan are coming off a 3-1 loss to league leading Maccabi Tel Aviv and will be desperate to climb out of the relegation zone.

If IKS are to continue their winning ways, they may have to do it without captain and key defender Salah Harsarma, who was subbed off with an undisclosed injury in Thursday's Europa League match.

Maccabi Netanya vs Bnei Yehuda

Leonard Krupnik looks to get back into the lineup for Netanya after not featuring in last week's emotional victory versus Tel Aviv. The Diamonds will be expecting a win at Bnei Yehuda, who has not won in five matches.

The Lions are expecting a tough match from Netanya, who is riding the high of defeating their fiercest rivals in the stadium opener last weekend. Three points for eighth place Netanya could see them move into the top five. A loss for Yehuda will result in them nearing the relegation zone.

Yehuda may be without forward Adám Hrepka, who had an MRI on Sunday and is questionable after a back injury last week. No injuries have been reported for Netanya.

Notes:

Ryan Adeleye hopes to make his first appearance of the season as Be'er Sheva travel to Hapoel Acre.
