Bryan Gerzicich and Ironi Kiryat Shmona face a tough home test against Hapoel Acre while Leonard Krupnik and Maccabi Netanya face off against third place Hapoel Tel Aviv in their new stadium opener.

Maccabi Netanya - Hapoel Tel Aviv

Leonard Krupnik and Netanya will open their new stadium on Sunday evening looking for win against Hapoel Tel Aviv.

Winner Stadium will hold 14,000 anxious spectators, who have been waiting almost nine years for the stadium to open. Netanya will need that support to propel them to victory against third place Tel Aviv.

The Red Demons will be looking to right the ship after two straight losses - one in the Europa League, one in Israeli league play - and almost 3,000 visiting fans will be on hand to support them.

Netanya, currently in 10th position, can potentially leapfrog several teams in a league where only three points separates fifth and 10th position.

Hapoel Tel Aviv will be without Nigerian Striker Toto Tamuz after he was shown two yellow cards in a contentious match against Beitar Jerusalem last week. He was subsequently suspended for another match for comments about the refereeing.

They'll also be without former De Graafschap and Kaiserslautern midfielder Gil Vermouth due to injury.

Ironi Kiryat Shmona - Hapoel Acre

Bryan Gerzicich and a reeling Kiryat Shmona are eager to get back in the win column after going nine matches winless, and they face an uphill battle against fourth-place Hapoel Acre.

Newly appointed coach Barak Bahkar will be looking for his first win after taking over for a fired Gili Landau. A win would certainly help the turmoil currently surrounding the club.

The defending champions, currently sitting in eighth place, cannot afford to lose more ground to league leaders Ashdod and Maccaibi Tel Aviv. Kiryat Shmona have struggled to score goals this season and will need to attack, managing only two goals in their last three matches.

They will be without centerback Elad Gabai, who is serving a one game suspension due to a red card on Monday.

Acre will be without starting defender Moshe Mishaelof, who strained a muscle in last week's match.

Notes

Ryan Adeleye will be looking to make his first appearance for Be'er Sheva as they host league leaders Ashdod. They currently sit in seventh position.
