Jozy Altidore and AZ aim for three points Sunday when they host last-place VV Venlo, while Charles Kazlauskas and Helmond Sport take on Cambuur in the Eerste Divisie.

AZ - VV Venlo

On Sunday, Jozy Altidore and his AZ teammates look to extend their winning streak to three games against VV Venlo.

AZ struggled to start the season, but have shown signs of life over the last week with wins over Vitesse and VV Sneek. Despite stumbling out of the gate, the Almaar club are only two points from a potential spot in the Europa League.

With 10 goals in all competitions, Altidore has been great up top for AZ. The American scored two goals in their midweek win over VV Sneek in the KNVB Cup.

Venlo are reeling at the moment. They are yet to win a game in the Eredivisie this season and sit in last place in the league, with only three points through 10 games.

Fernando Lewis and Maarten Martens are both out with injuries for AZ. Venlo have no significant injuries to report.

Helmond Sport - Cambuur

Charles Kazlauskas and Helmond get back to work in the Eerste Divisie on Friday against sixth-place Cambuur.

Although Helmond are currently third place in the league, they haven't won a single game in their last six, going 0-3-3 in the process. On the bright side for the promotion hopefuls, the three draws have all come in their last three games.

Cambuur have also struggled recently, losing their last two league games after jumping out to a fast start.

Due to injuries, Emrullah Guvenc, Mees Siers, Sebastian Stachnik and Erik Quekel all missed Helmond's contest against Emmen last weekend and the club has yet to update their status for Friday's game.

Mohamed El Makrini is the lone exclusion from Cambuur's squad. The midfielder is serving a suspension for picking up a red card against MVV last weekend.
