Mikkel Diskerud and Rosenborg look to pick up three points on title rival Molde as the team travels to Sean Cunningham's Stabæk.

Stabæk IF - Rosenborg Trondheim

With Molde's loss Sunday, Rosenborg has a great opportunity to pull within one point of the toe of the standings against the league's cellar dwellers.

American midfielder Mikkel Diskerud should start for Rosenborg, while Sean Cunningham is uncertain due to a hip injury.

Struggling before the summer break, Rosenborg has ridden an 11-game league unbeaten streak to climb firmly into third place. Although the team is enjoying the long unbeaten streak, Rosenborg has only won five of those games.

Stabæk had a glimmer of hope two weeks ago with a shock 2-1 win over Sandnes Ulf, but 4-1 pummeling at the hands of Fredrikstad has seen Stabæk drop to 10 points out of safety.

Outside of Cunningham, Stabæk has no injury concerns.

Rosenborg might be without Steffen Iversen, as he recovers from an Achilles' heel injury.
