CHRISTOPHER MCCOLLUM - Sunday, September 2, 2012
Jurgen Klinsmann announced the roster today that will face Jamaica in upcoming World Cup Qualifiers on September 7th and 11th.

Players from eight leagues in seven countries make up the roster, with England providing the most players with six.

Four players have found new teams during the later stages of the summer transfer window, with Carlos Bocanegra and Clint Dempsey acting as a grand finale display of transfers in the closing hours. The other players with new teams are Geoff Cameron and Maurice Edu with Stoke City.

Dempsey received a call up after being signed by Tottenham on Friday, though his match fitness will be questionable since he has been out of top level training for over two months during his transfer saga.

Josh Gatt is one of the most highly anticipated National Team prospects in years, being described as the fastest end-to-end player in the pool. His success with Molde FK over the past two seasons finally resulted in a call up to the senior team, but he was forced to withdraw after suffering a hamstring injury in Saturday's game against Brann.

Missing the call due to injuries are Michael Bradley and Landon Donovan, while Oguchi Onyewu also missed the call as he continues to regain fitness after a knee injury.

Edu was in central defense in the last USMNT match against Mexico and will probably be doing the same for Stoke, where, ironically, Cameron has been playing in the midfield. Couldn't see Wondo on the roster considering the form that the other strikers are in.
