CHRISTOPHER ANDERSON - Friday, August 17, 2012
The Green and White machine look to defend their position at the top of the Bundesliga standings on Saturday, when Sturm Graz come to town.

Around midday on Friday American Terrence Boyd returns from his national team duty last Wednesday, and can expect to see some action at least off the bench, if not as a starter up top. The 21-year old assisted Michael Orozco Fiscal with the decisive goal in ah historic 1-0 victory over Mexico.

Rapid are on a high after advancing in Europa League Qualification and upsetting the defending Bundesliga champions last weekend at home. Last Sunday, Rapid surprised the Bundesliga with a solid 2-0 win over the Salzburgers in their Red Bull Arena. Saturday's encounter will serve as mental and physical preparation for the midweek trip down to Thessaloniki to face Greek powerhouse PAOK in the Europa League Play-off.

The Styrians have been led this season by Austrian national team striker Rubin Okotie, who saw 20 minutes of action in Wednesday's 2-0 triumph over Turkey. The 25-year old has notched three goals for the "Schwoazn" so far, two of which came last Saturday in their 4-1 win over Wolfsburger AC.

Graz's two defeats this season have come at the hands of SV Mattersburg and Red Bull Salzburg, both of whom have fallen to Rapid.

Neither squad are facing injury worries, and can expect fulls squads for the 18:30 kickoff local time.
