After being initially left off of Caleb Porter's roster for the current U-23 camp that will play Mexico's U-23's, West Ham midfielder Sebastian Lletget has been called up.
The initial concern was injury related, due to Lletget suffering a recent concussion. However, after receiving clearance to play, Porter was quick to invite him in.
Lletget has been a regular member of Porter's U-23 camps, and is expected to a part of the Olympic team, should they make it to London. Lletget has seen action in friendlies for West Ham, but is still waiting for his call to the first team as they play their way back into the Premier League. He spoke with YA in December and reflected on his progress, saying that he feels that call is around the corner.
