SCOTT PETERSON - Saturday, February 18, 2012
Michael Bradley and Chievo Verona take on Genoa on Sunday as the Flying Donkeys from Verona will be looking to get back on the right track after losing their last two matches.

Since making his debut for the Veronans on matchday three, Bradley had played every minute until he was subbed off in last week's 2-0 loss to Napoli.

The midfielder is still likely to start, but, wary of falling further down the standings, Domenico di Carlo is looking to add a spark the starting 11 to break his team's slide and is toying with the idea of starting the Brazilian Luciano instead of Bradley.

Chievo currently sit in 14th place, which is just three spots above the relegation zone, but the Veronans do have an eight-point cushion.

Genoa comes into Sunday's match slightly banged up as starting center back Giandomenico Mesto and Slovakian midfielder Juraj Kucka missed the team's final practice on Friday, as a thigh and ankle knock respectively may rule the duo out of Sunday's match.

Last week the Genoans defeated Lazio 3-2 as top scorers Argentine Sergio Palacio and Serbian Bosko Jankovic did all the damage with the latter finding the back of the net twice and the former adding his team-leading 12th goal.

Should Chievo repeat their performance from the first go round against Genoa, the Veronans would pull even on points. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Sunday in the Stadio di Luigi Ferraris.
