Former US U-17 midfielder Alejandro Guido is now currently training with Club Tijuana of the Mexican Primera but a potential move to Europe is still on the table.

Sources have told YA that Dutch Eredivisie club Vitesse is still very interested in Guido. Guido spent significant time the fall of 2011 training with Vitesse and the club can make an offer this season.

Guido is still only 17 years old and does not have an EU passport. Current FIFA rules prevent him from moving professionally outside of the United States prior to his 18th birthday which will come on March 22. An offer could come around that time.

Vitesse is not the only club interested in Guido but they have shown the strongest interest to date.

Vitesse currently sit in seventh place in the Eredivisie with 34 points through 19 games.
