Alejandro Bedoya and Rangers will take on Arbroath in the Scottish FA Cup on Sunday.

Bedoya will hope to get a rare start for his new club as the Scottish giants take on Scottish Second Division club Arbroath. Sitting in the third professional league in Scotland, Rangers will feel they can rest some of their big name players to avoid further injury.

Rangers have a depleted squad ahead of the away visit and will be wanting no further incident with regular first team starters. With Maurice Edu speculated move to Sochaux on the table, the American midfielder might not even find his way into the team sheet.

Rangers do have a list of injury problems with Kyle Lafferty being the most recently injured player. Lafferty tore his hamstring just eight minutes into their game against Motherwell while Steven Whittaker could need to go under the knife for a groin injury he's been facing.

Goal scoring sensation Nikica Jelavic is still out injured while Kirk Broadfoot has been struggling for fitness as well. Rangers boss Ally McCoist will still demand nothing less than a win, regardless of the team selected on Sunday.

Notes:

Dominic Cervi played his final game for Greenock Morton and returns to Celtic who take on Peterhead.
