BRIAN SCIARETTA - Thursday, November 10, 2011
US Soccer today announced the venues for the 2012 CONCACAF Olympic qualifying tournament to be held from March 22 through April 2.

The tournament is the same format in previous years. It will consist of a total of eight teams divided into two groups of four teams.

The top two finishers of each group will advance to the semifinals and the winners of the two semifinal games will advance to the 2012 Olympic games in London.

One of the four team groups will play their games at LP Field in Nashville, Tennessee while the other will be at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California.

The finals and the semifinals will be held at Livestrong Sporting Park in Kansas City.

Six of the eight teams in the tournament have already been decided. USA, Mexico, Canada, El Salvador, Panama, and Honduras have already qualified. The remaining two teams from the Caribbean will be decided later this month and the draw for Olympic qualifying will happen afterward.

The US U-23 team is currently holding its first camp in preparation for the Qualifying tournament in Duisburg, Germany.
