Sacha Kljestan and Anderlecht lost on the road, while Devann Yao got to watch Boussu Dour win at home in weekend Belgian action
Cercle Brugge 1 - 0 Anderlecht
Suffering from a midweek Europa League hangover where they beat Strum Graz 3-0 and qualified for the next round, Anderlecht was less than impressive as they lost to this season's surprise team Cercle Brugge on Sunday evening in stoppage time thanks to Wilson Rudy's strike.
Les Mauves did themselves no favors as former Liverpool striker Milan Jovanovic let his team down by picking up a red card early in the game, leaving the visitors to play at a disadvantage. Cercle took advantage of the superior numbers and did their best to find the back of the net, however after several good second half attempts, Silvio Proto was finally beaten in the 91st minute. After a run into the box from the right, Rudy was picked out eight yards from goal and diverted the pass into the back of Anderlecht's net.
The loss was only Anderlecht's second of the season, having lost to newcomers OH Leuven in the season opener. They will hope to get back on track after the international break when St Truden comes to town on November 20th.
Devann Yao sat out due to injury as Boussu Dour beat league leaders Eupen by a 3-0 scoreline.
Tristan Bowen played the last eight minutes of Roeselare's 2-0 win over Sint Niklaas.
