Clint Dempsey and Fulham will square off against Tim Howard's Everton while the ageless Brad Friedel will guard the goal for Tottenham when they visit Blakburn.
Everton and Fulham have both found themselves in rough points of their respective season and the two will square off on Sunday at Craven Cottage in London.
Clint Dempsey is expected to start for Fulham and Tim Howard is certain to start for Everton in goal.
Fulham are coming on the heels of a midweek Europa League loss to Wisla Krakow which followed a Premier League loss last weekend to Stoke City. Despite the losses, they trail 10th place Arsenal by just three points and a win could see them climb several places.
After a very strong start to the season, Everton have lost their last three games by a combined score of 7-1. Last weekend they were outplayed by a Chelsea team that cruised to a 3-1 victory.
Following a midweek victory over Rubin Kazan in the Europa League, Tottenham will be looking to continue their strong run of play when they visit Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
Brad Friedel will start in goal for Tottenham.
Tottenham have not lost a league game since August and they now find themselves in a five game unbeaten run during that time. Last weekend they drew Newcastle after allowing a late goal to Shola Ameobi.
Blackburn have a draw and two losses in their last three league games. Last weekend they played to a 1-1 stalemate on the road against Queens Park Rangers.
Brad Guzan will start on the bench for Aston Villa when they host West Brom on Saturday. Eric Lichaj, however, still is out injured for Villa.
Stuart Holden is out until March and he won't take part in Bolton's match vs. Sunderland on Saturday.
Zak Whitbread is still out with a hamstring injury and won't play for Norwich when they visit Liverpool on Saturday.
Conor Doyle has been playing regularly off the bench and he will hope to see more minutes for Derby County when they visit Middlesborough on Saturday.
Robbie Findley is likely to start on the bench for Nottingham Forest when they visit Blackpool on Saturday.
Jonathan Spector may crack the starting lineup for Birmingham City for Sunday's game at Bristol City.
Frankie Simek is still out injured for Brentford and won't play when they visit Notts County on Saturday.
Anton Peterlin was a surprise starter for Walsall last weekend and he will hope to continue seeing significant minutes when the club visits Tranmere Rovers on Saturday.
John Paul Pittman is unlikely to play for Crawley Town when they host AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.
Jemal Johnson is not expected to dress for Southend United when they host Torquay United.
