Etchu Tabe returned to action for RoPS as they beat MYPA while Guiseppe Funicello is still battling an ankle injury and is yet to make his debut for VPS.

RoPS 2-1 MYPA

Etchu Tabe and RoPS took the three points against MYPA in Veikkausliiga action on Monday.

Tabe started and went the distance for RoPS.

The first half ended without any goals scored but RoPS did have the advantage in possession.

In the 57th minute though MYPA's Mikko Innanen scored off of a Ville Oksanen pass to put the visitors up temporarily.

The 77th minute saw Henrik Ojamaan take a shot for RoPS that got ricocheted and notched in by Jose Manuel Rivera. In the 89th minute Rivera struck again to give RoPS the lead and wint.

With six games left in the season RoPS is in the relegation zone and seven points from safety.

RoPS next takes on Inter Turku while MYPA plays Haka.

Notes

Guiseppe Funicello is still working his way back from an ankle injury did not feature in VPS' tie against Inter Turku.

Kellan Wilson stayed on the bench as HIFK lost to FC Lahti.
