PREVIEW: MONDAY FINNISH ACTION
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
JOHN KRETLOW - Monday, August 15, 2011
A round of Veikkausliga games on Monday night will put Etchu Tabe and RoPS on the spot against struggling KuPS and see the Yanks at Mariehamn try to break their five-game winless streak.

Inter Turku - IFK Mariehamn

The American trio of Mason Trafford, Josh Wicks, and Giuseppe Funicello all look to feature as IFK Mariehamn take on Inter Turku in Monday Veikkausliiga action.

Trafford, Wicks, and Funicello all started Friday's loss to Jaro, with Funicello getting subbed out at the half. The three are all likely to start once again on Monday.

Mariehamn are now winless in their last five games and will need to bounce back to keep pace in the standings.

Inter Turku had their winning streak snapped, losing to Haka 2-0 on Friday. They currently stand second in the standings, but trail first place HJK by twelve points.

Federico Scoppa will miss for Inter due to a red card against Haka.

Mariehamn left their game with no suspensions or injuries and should thus feature their same lineup.

RoPS - Kups Kuopio

Etchu Tabe hopes to return to action as RoPS takes on Kups Kuopio.

The American defender missed the last two games due to suspension but could feature this Monday.

RoPS lost to TPS Turku on Friday, digging themselves an even deeper hole in the Veikkausliiga cellar. They are now seven points from safety with half the season still to play.

KuPS are currently tenth in the standings and nine points from the relegation zone. They MyPA on Friday and will try and build off of that momentum on Monday.

Both teams left their game unscathed and should field similar lineups as Friday's games.
