PREVIEW: WEEKEND MEXICAN ACTION
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
BRIAN SCIARETTA - Friday, July 29, 2011
Herculez Gomez and Tecos will look for their first win of the season when they visit Michael Orozco's San Luis while DaMarcus Beasley and Puebla will look for continued success when they host Jose Torres and Pachuca.

San Luis - Tecos

After dropping their respective openers last weekend, San Luis and Tecos will each be looking to pick up their first points of the season when the two teams face each other at Estadio Alfonso Lastras on Saturday.

Herculez Gomez is likely to start again for Tecos at forward after putting on an impressive performance in the season opener against Toluca.

Michael Orozco should make his second consecutive start for San Luis in defense.

Last weekend San Luis fell to Pumas 2-0 and Tecos fell to Toluca 2-1.

Neither team is reporting any injuries at this time.

Puebla - Pachuca

After an impressive performance in their opening win over Atlas, Puebla will be looking to continue their strong start when they host Pachuca on Sunday.

DaMarcus Beasley had a good Mexican Primera division debut against Atlas and will likely start again on Sunday.

Jose Torres is expected to start for Pachcua who had a terrible performance in their 4-1 home loss in their opener.

Neither team is reporting injuries at this time.

Notes:

Adrian Ruelas will hope to make the bench for Jaguares when they visit Chivas on Sunday.

Jonathan Bornstein is unlikely to be in the matchday 18 for Tigres when they visit Queretaro on Saturday.

Edgar Castillo played 25 minutes for Club America last weekend and is likely to see some minutes again when they visit Toluca on Sunday.
