After completing a loan stint last season with Sigma Olomouc of the Czech Liga, American forward Stefan Jerome will return to the club on another loan until December 2011.

Jerome, 18, turned professional in 2010 when he signed with the Brazilian-based sports management company Traffic Sports. In January Traffic loaned him to Sigma for six month and gave the club an option to buy.

Instead exercising their right to buy Jerome's contract, Sigma have negotiated with Traffic for a loan extension.

"Sigma desired to extend the loan until December 2011," Traffic Sports director Fernando Clavijo told YA. "They liked what happened in the first loan but needed a little more time. We felt that was the right decision for Stefan's future and agreed to another loan."

Jerome featured regularly for the club's U-18 team and reserve team but did not appear for the first team. He did however make the first team bench on two occasions during league games.

Sigma Olomouc finished in fourth place in the 16 team Czech Liga in 2010/11.

He was at Hoffenheim before that right? Hopefully he can get a few 1st games under his belt. Very young and promising.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
