Diego Chavarri and Sporting Cristal will look to begin a climb up the Peruvian Primera Division standings on Sunday when they host Universitario at Lima's Estadio San Martin de Porres.

Chavarri is still not completely recovered from a sprained ankle but is expected to play against Universitario. Since coming back to action two weeks ago after missing the previous month, the New York City-born Chavarri has been the first sub off the bench.

Sporting Cristal enter into the game without a win in their previous three. Their offense has been their biggest weakness as they have only scored once.

Sporting Cristal currently sit in 11th place but the standings remain tight and three points separate them from fifth place.

Universitario on the other hand have not lost in their previous five games and have earned 11 points during that span.

Neither team are reporting any injuries at this time.
