CLINT WADDELL - Monday, February 28, 2011
David Yelldell will be between the posts for Duisburg when they host Cottbus in the German Cup semi-final on Tuesday.

Duisburg is slowly losing the race for a spot in the Bundesliga next season, but the Zebras still have a chance to win some hardware this season. The team from head coach Milan Sasic has been solid on defense but unable to get anything going on offense over the last few weeks.

They were dealt another blow last weekend when midfielder Julian Koch suffered a knee injury and will be missing from action indefinitely. Sasic wants to use the latest setback as motivation: He said that the team should win it for Julian.

Cottbus will be looking for forward Nils Petersen for instant offense. The talented youngster is the team's leading scorer with 15 goals in league play.

Both Cottbus and Duisburg are in the top half of the standings in the 2. Bundesliga and the winner will take on the winner of Schalke and Bayern Munich in the final on May 21 in Berlin.

Dusiburg will just be missing Koch and Cottbus will be without forward Emil Jula.
