Freddy Adu was the only American in action in Turkey this weekend, seeing his second start in a scoreless draw in Istanbul.

Güngören Belediyespor 0 – 0 Rizespor

Rizespor left Istanbul with an important away-point on Sunday afternoon, but saw their position in the rankings suddenly slip from third to sixth.

Freddy Adu saw his second start under coach Ümit Kayihan, and exited in the 55th minute for forward Mehmet Al

Güngören's Ersin Sahin and Haşan Yigit picked up yellow cards in the 34th and 71st minutes respectively, while Rize's Yunus was carded with a minute left.

The stalemate means Rize slip three spots into sixth with 36 points, while Güngören drop a notch to 12th with 24 points.

Adu and Riezspor return home and prepare for hosting Gaziantep BSB next Sunday afternoon.

Notes:

Jozy Altidore sat out Bursaspor's 2-0 victory over Bucaspor on Friday night nursing a tender ankle.
